If you get him off of the Genesis wave, get rid of him with the sabertooth. Another is that if you have soul of the harvest on the field, he can potentially kill you so it’s best to keep him off the field when you do this combo.

Now this combo can be it’s own downfall since it’s not well protected when you cast Genesis storm but if you have prowling serpopard on the field then you can bounce the witness and recast her to get back the wave and continue. If the first time didn’t get Craterhoof then you cast eternal witness to bring back the wave and repeat the process while using the sabertooth to bounce back the witness in case if you need to do it multiple time till you hit Craterhoof Behemoth. The point of this combo is to make a ton of mana with Selvala and cast a huge Genesis wave. The combo also includes Selvala, Craterhoof, and any untap ability as well. Now this combo revolves around these three cards One revolves around playing our deck till we get Craterhoof and the other is by infinitely blowing up our opponent’s lands, artifacts, and enchantments. I personally recommend running 8-12 elves in the deck so that you can have room for the rest of your deck without diminishing your elf package.

There are other neat elves that can go well here like Marwyn the Nurturer, but I personally don’t like her.

When building this deck, you can go full elf tribal if you want to. For quirion Ranger, he’s useful to help untap Selvala to produce more mana which can be helpful. Ezuri is there to be another win condition if any of our combos gets stopped. Normally at times when we have priest or the sage or the Archdruid, we tend to make some decent amount of mana to were we really don’t need Selvala sometimes. Now we do want Selvala out on turn two at the earliest so we do run our mana dork elves to help out.
